The One Behind The Camera
Hey girl, hey — I’m Elissa.
The one with cellulite, rolls, a double chin, an imperfect smile, and a body that’s changed a whole lot over the years (thanks to life… and kids).
I’m also a hot mess with stretch marks, zero upper body strength, and your soon-to-be hype bestie with a camera.
Parts of me jiggle when I walk too fast. I used to dream of being a stripper, but turns out pole dancing requires muscles I just don’t have — and I’m way more “accidentally bruised from the laundry basket” than “graceful aerial goddess.” So, I found my own kind of art.
I never had the balance for a Pinterest mom lifestyle, but what I do have is an eye for the quiet things — the stuff people overlook in themselves.
That half-smile that sneaks in when you stop overthinking. The shift in your shoulders when you finally exhale. The exact second you realize you don’t have to hide your stomach in every photo. That’s what I look for. That’s what I live for.
I didn’t build Love Her Boudoir to “fix” women. I built it because I am one. And because there’s nothing like seeing your own damn photo and thinking,
“Holy sh*t… that’s me?” This isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence. You don’t need a Pinterest body, or a reason. You just need to show up — I’ll take it from there.
